Diode laser hair removal

Our laser effectively removes hair no matter the pigmentation of the skin, the colour or thickness of the hair. It is painless and it can be calibrated on the customer’s requirements during the treatment to make it a positive and desirable experience.

It is important to consider that the number of sessions and the extension of the treatment will depend on the following conditions:

• Areas to be treated
• Sensitivity of the skin
• Tolerance level to the laser
• Type of melanin in the hair and skin colour
• Age and hormonal factors

• Shave the hair with a razor or a depilatory cream a day before the treatment
• Avoid sun exposure or self-tanning cream 3 days before the treatment
• Do not bleach the hair
• Do not use any hair removal methods that pull hair out of the root (wax, plucking, etc.)
• Come to our laser session free of lotions or deodorants on the area to be treated.
• Inform the specialist if you are taking medication or if you have any illness

The area that has been treated could become slightly irritated immediately after the treatment, but the irritation will disappear a few hours after the session. Therefore, we recommend:

• Using our HIDROGEL POST-LASER during the treatment in order to calm, moisture and regenerate the skin.
• Avoid being out in the sun on the days following the treatment
• After the session you will see how the hair grows again and in between 5-15 days, the hair that has been removed during the session will fall off and disappear whereas the other hair will be removed in the next sessions
• Avoid using methods that pluck the hair root

Diode Laser is currently the most effective treatment in the market since it can treat all type of hair and skin phototype. The Diode Laser has a blue light source that moves in a straight line and it is absorbed with higher precision. The intense beams of light are highly focused and they target melanin, thus protecting the surrounding tissue since it only affects melanin. In other words, it penetrates directly to the hair and does not affect other skin areas. Melanin is responsible for giving color to the hair and it absorbs the light from the laser because of its darker pigment. The intense beams of light are converted to heat and they destroy the root of the hair.
